Emily joined our team as an Associate Landscape Architect in the summer of 2017 after interning with us for two prior summers while completing her degrees from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. Originally from the Minneapolis/St. Paul suburbs, Emily grew up with the opportunity to enjoy an expanse of beautiful, interconnected park systems gaining an appreciation for landscape planning and landscape architecture. The quainter scale of a yard and a homeowner seemed to be the right fit for Emily, and she now specializes in residential design-build projects. From planting bed renovations to patios, lighting to water features, and small-scale space challenges to creating rooms in a larger outdoor space, Emily loves working with homeowners to find a creative solution to the needs and wants they have in mind for their outdoor spaces.
Outside of work Emily enjoys exploring the greater Milwaukee area and discovering new and fun destinations and events that make Milwaukee feel just like home. Running, reading, experimenting with plantings in her own yard, enjoying a craft beer (or a good old Miller Lite), working on house projects, or hanging out by the lake are just a few things that tend to fill her time.
