Being recognized as a Tree Campus by the Arbor Day Foundation is a significant achievement for the landscape maintenance we do at Milwaukee Regional Medical Center (MRMC) in Wauwatosa. The award demonstrates a commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainability, and community engagement.

Our team worked with the client to put more emphasis and effort into managing the trees on the campus, especially through winter pruning. The beautiful outcome led to MRMC applying to the Foundation for the renowned Tree Campus designation.

MRMC is a consortium of health care institutions and home to Children’s Hospital, Froedtert Hospital, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. The client expects a well maintained campus filled with stately trees, manicured green spaces, and colorful flowers, understanding that plants can be highly therapeutic in reducing stress and anxiety for those who work and visit MRMC. Over 19,000 people are employed on campus, and annually about 56,000 inpatients, almost 2.8 million outpatients, and 200,000 emergency patients receive care there.
