The Heart of The Neighborhood
This apartment complex, nestled in the heart of the village would require residential detailing for the comfort of both its residents and surrounding neghbors.
Landscape Architect: Michael Seaman
Location: Whitefish Bay
Client Need
Installation of an inviting landscape for this apartment complex that would appeal to both residents and the surrounding neighbors.
Inspiration
The design was initially done by another landscape architect but the owner requested some enhancements. I wanted to bring in some elements that more resembled a residential landscape such as privacy around patios, a beautiful entrance and plenty of seating areas.
Favorite Element
Two second-story private green roofs that allow people to enjoy a private yard with small gardens without going through the building and down the stairs.
Biggest Challenge
Meeting the final deadline so the owners would be granted occupation. We did it!
Tough Moment
This project was installed in phases so we needed to keep plants watered until the end of the project.
Fond Memory
Compliments from residents as I performed my final walkthrough. They watched much of the project unfold and were quite impressed.
