Teaming Up to Thank Health Care Heroes on May Day

DJFLCI and our client, Hilldale Shopping Center in Madison, delivered a big, beautiful bouquet of well-deserved thanks to the health care workers at UW Hospital in appreciation of their dedication and sacrifice during the COVID-19 pandemic.

DJFLCI and our client, Hilldale Shopping Center in Madison, delivered a big, beautiful bouquet of well-deserved thanks to the health care workers at UW Hospital in appreciation of their dedication and sacrifice during the COVID-19 pandemic.

May 1, Madison Team Members transported almost 2,000 spring flowers to the hospital (also one of our clients) and, with the help of Hilldale staff, arranged them in three large heart displays for employees and patients to see. The flowers were then given away to health care workers as they ended their shifts.

Hilldale has been closed during the pandemic, so the flowers that were going to decorate the shopping center were instead donated to the hospital.

Madison Branch Manager Tod Schneider said he and his Team Members received dozens of thank yous while there.

Health care workers also posted their appreciation on Facebook. “Thank you so much for the plant donations today! It is appreciated more than you know. A great way to end a long week. You can’t see under the mask, but I am smiling.”
