Gather Round the Grill

This Menomonee Falls family requested an outdoor grill, but little did they know that it would become the heart of the home.

Patio addition to integrate homeowners love of outdoor cooking and space for family time.

Inspiration

Clients desire to create a space the entire family can enjoy and spend quality time together.

Favorite Element

Canopy structure over grilling area to create an all-weather space.

Biggest Challenge

Designing the pergola/canopy structure to be within the property setbacks and still create a comfortable and useable space.

Proudest Accomplishment

Knowing that the client enjoys the space and using it for family time and utilizing it for multiple uses. The client hung a projector screen from the pergola and had a family movie night.

Tough Moment

Deciding what to do when the manufacturer decided to find a new fabricator for the gas fire pan. Not being sure if a pan would be available in time for the scheduled install date or if I needed to find a different manufacturer that had a fire pan with similar specifications.

Fond Memory

Enjoying a beautiful late summer day at the site when out maintenance crew spruced up the area for a photo shoot.
