David J. Frank Receives Four National Awards in 2021
Recognition received at the prestigious Excellence in Landscaping Awards Program.
Our four state award winners in spring were announced as winners in the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ Award of Excellence program last week (see below).
Quite a showing when you consider we are competing against dozens of landscape companies across the country including the largest of the large in major metropolitan areas (projects range in size and scope from under $25,000 to over $1 million!)
Xanadu
Award Category: Residential Landscape Management Client Service Representative: Zach Lieven
Located on a busy road, people driving by constantly slow down to take in the idyllic magnificence and beauty of the area’s Xanadu.
The authentic Victorian-style main residence includes many multi-season pocket gardens requiring weekly gardening, pruning, and debris removal. The other three homes have more traditional designs and different levels of service. They boast gardens of hostas, roses, hydrangeas, and many perennials and shrubs. Read more

Candlewick

Candlewick is the client’s name for their prized property; the modified English garden is the focal point of the five-acre estate. The client has extremely high expectations and an eye for detail (they used three different landscaping companies before we took over in 2014). Read More
The Boat House

A grand plan that was an epic logistical challenge from day one. The elevation change from the top of the bluff to the site was about 80 feet with a grade close to 40 percent–not to mention the slope was vegetated with trees and understory plant material.Read more
